MBFF BACK FOR 2018

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane is back for five days of stunning fashion.

Queensland’s sensational celebration of Spring/Summer fashion is back, with the announcement of the 12th Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane.

The annual showcase of style will be staged from Sunday 26 – Thursday 30 August, 2018 at the magnificent Old Government House. The heritage and quintessentially Queensland venue in the heart of Brisbane will once again provide the perfect destination for five days of stunning fashion.

Festival Director Lindsay Bennett is delighted to announce that Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane will once again celebrate the best of local design.

“We are thrilled to announce that the Fashion Festival is back to shine a spotlight on the very best of Queensland, Australian and next-generation fashion creatives this year,” Mr Bennett said.

“The historic Old Government House will be ‘fashion central’ once again, following the wonderful success and overwhelmingly positive audience response from last year’s event. We can’t wait to unveil our 2018 program for fashion lovers to peruse, which will be as fresh and exciting as ever with some incredible new experiences.”

The Fashion Festival team is also proud to welcome back its inaugural Principal Partner, Mercedes-Benz.

The company has shone a spotlight on the work of up-and-coming Australian fashion designers for decades, said Mercedes-Benz Australia-Pacific CEO and Managing Director Horst von Sanden.

“Through our partnership with events such as Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane and Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia, we have been proud supporters of the Australian fashion industry for more than two decades,” he said.

“Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane is among some 50 events held each year in 30 countries that underlines our global commitment to supporting the work of young, up-and-coming designers as well as established stars in sharing their enormous talent.”

Further details of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane, including the full program of events and participating designers, will be announced in the coming weeks.
