Where is the Fashion Festival held?
Our central venue for the 2018 Fashion Festival is Old Government House. This magnificent, heritage building is located in QUT Gardens Point Campus in the Brisbane CBD, adjacent to the City Botanic Gardens. The building is accessible by foot along Main Drive at the end of George Street.
This year’s program also includes a special, off-site runway show, and some events are held in different locations. Please check your ticket for details relevant to your event.

When do tickets go on sale?
Tickets to the 2018 Fashion Festival go on sale through QTIX on Friday, 1st June.
How do I purchase tickets?
What kinds of tickets are available? Can I choose where I sit?
For runway Group Shows, ticket options include general admission (allocated seating – you can choose your preferred seat from the available selection), Gold Passes (premium seating and admission to the Mercedes-Benz Star Lounge), or Platinum Passes (front-row seating and admission to the Mercedes-Benz Star Lounge).
Which designers are in each Group Show?
The full list of designers will be announced on1 June, 2017 when tickets go on sale.
How long does each Group Show usually run for?
Generally, each show runs between 30-40 minutes. Please note that shows do start at advertised times, and seating begins approximately 15 minutes prior to each show. Aim to arrive early so that you can be seated in plenty of time.
How do I volunteer at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane?
Each year we enlist the help of volunteers in a number of different areas, including Front of House (ushers), Back of House (dressers) and Drivers. Volunteer applications will open in early July and at this time you will be able to apply online via our Volunteers page.

Can I work as a makeup artist or hairstylist at the Fashion Festival?
Our official Hair and Makeup Partners for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane are Schwarzkopf Professional and Napoleon Perdis. We do not employ freelance stylists.
How do you select models for the Fashion Festival?
The Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane only employs experienced runway models from professional modelling agencies. All of our model bookings will be made directly to agencies.
How can I apply for Media Accreditation for the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival?
This is a consumer ticketed event. We do also welcome a select number of media, bloggers, and photographers to cover the event. If you would like to apply for Media Accreditation, applications are assessed on an individual basis. Please contact us if you wish to apply.
I purchased a Platinum or Gold Pass. What time should I arrive and how do I get to the Mercedes-Benz Star Lounge?
Access to the Mercedes-Benz Star Lounge opens one hour prior to the show start time advertised on your ticket. When you arrive at Old Government House, simply follow the signs or ask one of our friendly volunteers for directions to the Lounge. Ensure you bring your entrée card included with your ticket, as this is required for access. Please note access to the Lounge is restricted to patrons 18+.
I am travelling by car, where can I park?
A Pay-on-Exit car park located underground in the Science and Engineering Centre (P-block) providing the best access for visitors to Old Government House. Open to the public 24/7, this underground car park includes several PWD parking bays and lift access to ground level (level four). Rates for the Pay-on-Exit car park start from $15 per hour. Visitor/Other who enter after 6:00pm and exit before midnight will receive a discounted rate of $5.00 per hour or part thereof. Pay Stations accept both cash and cards, and are located in the car park. Remember to pay for your parking at one of the pay stations prior to returning to your car, as there is no facility for payment at the boom gates.

Alternate Car Parking
For those looking for a more affordable parking solution, consider Secure Parking located at 200 Mary Street just a 5 min stroll to Old Government House.
Entry after 4.00pm is a flat fee of $10.00 or $9.50 if you secure-a-spot online.
I am travelling by Taxi, Uber or limousine, where should I direct the driver?
There is a taxi drop-off point outside Parliament House (next to Botanic Gardens), about 300m walk from Old Government House.
