MBFF Brisbane Unveils the Face of 2019 Festival

The face of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane for 2019 has been revealed, as the campaign shoots for the Fashion Festival are unveiled.

Brisbane-born beauty, Charlie Robertson (Chic Australia), has achieved international success and now returns home to star as the face of Queensland’s premier annual fashion event.

Charlie’s work includes runway shows and campaigns for some of the biggest names in Australian fashion and lifestyle, including Alex Perry, Toni Maticevski, David Jones, and Running Bare, as well as shoots for Cosmopolitan and GQ. Overseas, Charlie has counted work for renowned couture house, Zuhair Murad, and Vogue Italia on her portfolio.

Having been around the globe and back, Charlie returns to her home town for the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane hero shoot. The hero image was shot on location at Howard Smith Wharves, with hair and makeup by Fashion Festival Partners Schwarzkopf Professional and Issada Cosmetics.

Charlie wears a design by Queensland-native brand and Australian and international cult favourite, Aje, with accessories by McKinney’s Jewellers and clutch by article:. She is accompanied by the all-new Mercedes-Benz A200.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane Director, Lindsay Bennett, is delighted to work with Charlie on the 2019 hero shoot.

“Charlie is an incredible model and a wonderful local success story. Having made her mark nationally and worked for some prestigious brands internationally, the team and I are thrilled to have her back here in Brisbane to star in the 2019 Fashion Festival shoot,” Mr Bennett said.

The hero image will cover all Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane branding for 2019, including programs, brochures, the website and social media.
