Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane is thrilled to welcome two of the biggest stars in beauty to Queensland this August!
Napoleon Perdis and his daughter Lianna will be Ambassadors for the 2018 Fashion Festival, and fans can spot the illustrious duo on and beside the runway throughout the week.
Self-made makeup engineer Napoleon Perdis has been the Fashion Festival’s Makeup Partner since the beginning, and this year The OG will personally direct the beauty looks for each runway show.
“I am proud to join Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane as an Ambassador this year. We have been Partners of the Fashion Festival since it first began, and Lianna and I can’t wait to attend and see the new-season fashion collections from Queensland designers,” Napoleon said. “I have always been a supporter of Australian fashion, and I believe the perfect makeup look can really take every outfit on the runway to the next level and truly empower the person wearing it.”
Lianna Perdis, 18, is the eldest of Napoleon’s four daughters and her star is fast on the rise, as a model, beauty entrepreneur and Australia’s own ‘It’ girl. Delving into the beauty industry just like her father, Lianna is not only the gorgeous face of Napoleon Perdis cosmetics, but also the co-creator of the brand’s youthful beauty line, Total Bae.
She is also one of the fashion industry’s hottest new models – represented by Chic Model Management, she has 10 covers under her belt including Harper’s Bazaar and Madame Figaro in Europe; Oyster, Grazia and Girlfriend in Australia and has walked in both New York and Australian Fashion Weeks.
Lianna will be gracing the runway for each fashion show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane this year.
“I am very excited to be walking at MBFF Brisbane,” Lianna said. “Australia is my home away from home, and the fashion industry here is incredible. There are so many talented designers, and I’m excited to be showcasing their Spring/Summer collections on the runway. I hope to discover some new Queensland designers as well.”
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane Director, Lindsay Bennett, is delighted to welcome Napoleon and Lianna to the Fashion Festival this year.
“Napoleon Perdis has been one of the Festival’s most steadfast Partners and we are so excited to host Napoleon and Lianna this year. We cannot wait to see the stunning makeup looks on the runway created by Napoleon, and to have Lianna, an internationally-recognised face, strutting the runway,” Mr Bennett said.
The Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane runs from Sunday 26 – Thursday 30 August, and tickets are selling fast. For the full program, designers, and bookings, visit www.mbff.com.au.
